2. How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used only to deliver app content and functionality, personalise your experience within the app, power AI-guided coaching responses, improve app performance and user experience, and communicate with you where necessary.
Your data is never sold, rented, or used for advertising purposes. glowRISE is ad-free and your data will never be shared with advertisers.
3. AI Coaching and Third Party Processing
glowRISE uses artificial intelligence to provide reflective, supportive, and personalised coaching responses through our coach.
Our AI features are powered by the Claude API, provided by Anthropic PBC. When you interact with the coach, your message and relevant context from your onboarding profile are sent securely to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Your conversation content is processed by Anthropic in accordance with their own Privacy Policy, which you can review at anthropic.com/privacy. We encourage you to review this directly for the most current information on how Anthropic handles API data.
We do not use your coach conversations to train models or identify you personally beyond what is needed to deliver your coaching experience.
Important to know:
Coach responses are not medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice. The coach is designed to support reflection, clarity, and identity work. You remain fully responsible for decisions you make outside the app.
4. Platform Infrastructure and Data Access
glowRISE is built on Glide, a no-code application platform. As our platform provider, Glide stores and processes data on our behalf using Google Cloud infrastructure. Glide operates under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which you can review at glide.is.
As a result of using Glide as our platform, authorised Glide personnel may have access to data stored within the app as part of normal platform operations, security monitoring, and technical support. We work within Glide's framework to limit data access and protect your information wherever possible.
5. User-Uploaded Content
Users may choose to upload a profile photo or vision board image within the app. These images are stored on Google Cloud Storage via Glide. While access URLs are randomised and not publicly listed or indexed, any party with the exact file link could technically access the image.
We recommend that users avoid uploading sensitive, private, or personally identifying images beyond what they are comfortable having stored on third-party cloud infrastructure.
6. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using secure platforms, limiting internal data access, and following responsible data handling practices.
When you delete content within the app, such as journal entries, coach conversations, or profile information, that content is removed from your visible experience immediately. However, deleted data may remain in secure backup systems maintained by our platform provider for a limited period before being permanently purged, in accordance with Glide's data retention practices.
User account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. We may periodically review and remove inactive account data at our discretion. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
While no system is 100% secure, we are committed to notifying affected users of any significant data breach as soon as reasonably practicable.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
We share data only in the following circumstances: when required by law or legal process, when necessary to operate the app securely through trusted platform providers such as Glide and Anthropic, or when you have given explicit consent

Any service providers we use are required to protect your data and may only use it for the specific purpose for which it was shared.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time by ceasing to use the app.
If you have concerns about how your data is being handled, you may seek guidance from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or your local data protection authority if you are located outside Australia.

9. Age Requirement
glowRISE is intended for users aged 18 years and over. By using this app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a person under 18 has created an account or provided personal information, we will take steps to remove that information and close the account promptly.

The app may reference or link to third party content, books, or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party services you access through or in connection with glowRISE.
